Additional crafted vents holes likely assisted in the slow diffusing of its frothy and heated liquid contents. Having once been in favorable use by those in past ownership of its solid and cared for appeal.

Condition: Very Good, retains an aged and evenly dispersed patinated surface. A hand rubbing including a (fine bristle) light brushing with a museum grade wax has been applied and cloth wiped. The interior too was given a very light coat of olive oil and tissue packed; this to retain its present condition till final sale. Should it be ever used a recommended dish soaping of its interior along with a couple pre-heats of water should be performed.
